Scott English began his telecommunications career with Mountain Bell in 1980. His work as a central office technician, PBX installer, public network repair technician, and data services support to field personnel, gave him a solid foundation in telecommunications technology. He left US West in 1994 to launch Data Structures. Since leaving, Scott has earned the title of Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), a professional designation awarded by The Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI). This certification is awarded to telecommunications professionals who demonstrate a high level of expertise and excellence in the integration and implementation of distribution systems (voice, data, video), as well as related infrastructure components. There are only five thousand telecommunications professionals that hold this prestigious certification world wide. Scott's 23 years of experience allow him to offer much more than knowledge, but also wisdom.

Scott has also earned certifications from Cisco Systems, and has been a member of faculty at Front Range Community College instructing adult classes in advanced switching and routing.
